Post Card From The Countryside| Searson Farmhouse

So the cottage we stayed was called Season Farmhouse in Suffolk (Felixstowe)

I just wanted to do a little review of the farmhouse we stayed in, as well as share few pics from our time out there.

So the cottage we stayed was called Season Farmhouse in Suffolk (Felixstowe), it sleeps 16, so was perfect for Mike's big family. It had about 8/9 rooms across two adjoining cottages, it was lovely, warm and modern with a country edge. We had the whole grounds to ourselves and basically we didn't see another person for miles.
There were two kitchens, a bathroom to almost every room and 2/3 lounge areas so you really didn't have to spend too much time cooped up with folk!
I actually would love to hire this place for a girly weekend get away, we basically, laughed, ate and drank the whole time, in luxury.

Some of us ventured out on a tradition extended family walk to the seaside, in the blustering wind and cold(2hrs!), and the crazy ones also found themselves in the ice cold water. Obviously when at the seaside, you must get some fish and chips, that we did! It was scrumptious :)

For the rest of the time there we basically ate, everything that we possibly could, The family had all brought a range of food as the cottage was self-catering, and ate and drank ourselves into a food coma while playing Taboo, Scrabble and Monopoly in front of the fire. Bliss.

Searson Farmhouse 8/10, I would definitely recommend this place if you where where thinking of organising a family retreat, as its about 2/3 Hrs away from London, but be prepared and order food, because we really didn't see a store for a while!
